Metallica is a band like no other. After their release of Kill 'Em All in 1983, Metallica had established heavy metal as a major category of music which still lives on today. It was inevitable, however, that metal would begin to decline at some point in time. Despite the drastic increase of popularity in what was once "alternative" music (and is now the dark plague which has swept over radio stations throughout the country), Metallica continues to churn out high-quality, eardrum- rupturing, ass-kicking music. This page has been designed as a tribute to one of the greatest bands in recent history, as well as a memorial to their fallen comrade, Cliff Burton, whose life ended far before its time, on September 27th of 1986.

This page doesn't have Metallica's complete discography, or a multimedia archive of images, video, and midi-files, or information on joining the Metallica fanclub. It exists merely to remember and pay tribute to what I consider to be the best band in existence.
